In 1983, Classic Accessories was founded in a small basement in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood when its founder, Jacob Engelstein, saw an opportunity to create automotive accessories like seat belt pads, steering wheel covers and fuzzy dice. Pretty humble beginnings. They were making all of these smaller covers when it hit them: why not make covers for the whole car? This was a big step for Classic Accessories as a company. Because if you can cover a car, why not a boat? Or an RV? Or even a grill? Very heady stuff.
In all seriousness, Classic has come a long way over the past 30 years. They have steadily increased their investments in design and product development to the point that they are making the most innovative, benefit-rich and handsome covers on the market today. They have expanded to cover cars, RVs, motorcycles, scooters, patio furniture, grills, boats, PWCs, snowmobiles, power equipment, generators, ATVs, side by sides, golf carts, and more. They even make inflatable pontoon boats. While you invest in the things that make your life more enjoyable, Classic Accessories invests in protecting them. Their commitment as the market leader in protective covers shows they don't just set the bar on quality and expectations, they raise it. Classic Accessories consistently delivers products that are designed to perform and built to last.
Classic Accessories is also about more than just protection. They know that covering your vehicles and equipment is really about your lifestyle; about your time spent outdoors hunting, camping, grilling or whatever it is you do. Classic Accessories wants to help you make that time as amazing as possible. They are passionate about the outdoors like you are and think through the features that will make their accessories the most useful, convenient and practical. They added zippered fuel tank access to watercraft covers so you could refuel without taking the cover off. They added dark material to the bottom of their patio furniture covers to better hide those inevitable stains. They used parachute material on their RV covers to make them lighter and easier to store. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If it matters to you, it matters to Classic Accessories.
