They know many of their customers are more and more concerned about the weight and "bulk" of their EDC (every day carry) knife as there is a lot of competition for the limited space in their pockets. That's why they focused on making a feather light (3.2 oz) ultra slim (8.8 mm thick) folder that can be carried 24/7 while still leaving room in the pocket for other essential gear. But what they didn't do in their quest to make a super EDC knife was skimp on workmanship and materials.
