CDI™ Black Frame Clear/Smoke Gray Oval Glasses Kit (740-0296) by ESS®. The resilient, battle-hardened CDI™ sunglass has a long track record of saving eyes and lives in hostile situations. Its high-speed low-drag frame and shatter-resistant lenses make the CDI™ comfortable and cool enough for downtime yet functional and rugged enough for the battlefield. Medium fit. The CDI™ Lateral Exchange System makes interchanging any of the lens colors quick and easy.

Notes

ESS strongly recommends the use of high-impact polycarbonate prescription lenses to optimize impact resistance in the CDI sunglass. High-impact polycarbonate prescription lens material will maximize the impact resistance of the system well beyond that offered by CR-39 resin or other common materials used in prescription lens manufacturing.

Warranty

FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY

Current ESS products are warranted against manufacturers defects for a period of five years (electronic components, if applicable, are covered for one year). The warranty is valid only to the original purchaser with a proof of purchase from an Authorized ESS Dealer that clearly shows the purchase date. For all valid warranty claims, ESS will repair or replace the product. Please refer to the specific warranty included with your product for specific information regarding warranty coverage.

All ESS Rx products are governed by an ESS Rx Limited Warranty.

ESS Rx eyewear (prescription lens carrier inserts and prescription eyewear) products comes with a warranty by Eye Safety Systems, Inc. (ESS) for five years (for frames) against manufacturing defects and workmanship, and two years (for Rx lens coating) against surface cracking and/or peeling. Warranty coverage commences from the date of original purchase and is only valid for the original purchaser with proof of purchase from an authorized dealer that clearly shows the purchase date.

The warranty is only valid when the Rx eyewear frames are fitted with authentic ESS Rx lenses; fitting with any third party products automatically voids warranty coverage. Scratches caused by improper care or abuse are not covered by this warranty. Alteration, misuse, abuse or improper care will void all warranty coverage. The customer’s exclusive remedy for a breach of warranty shall be a replacement of the product if related to the frame and a one-time replacement of the product if related to the lens coating. This warranty does not affect the legal rights of customers under applicable state or national laws governing the sale of consumer goods.

Avon Vision Correction System (VCS) frames are warranted by ESS for a period of eighteen months from the date of original purchase against manufacturing defects. Rx lens coatings come with a twenty-four month warranty against surface cracking and/or peeling. Warranty coverage is only valid only for the original purchaser with a proof of purchase from an authorized dealer that clearly shows the purchase date.
