Warranty

Different Fisher products have different warranty policy. You can find the warranty period in the product description. Any warranty does not apply to any products that have been subjected to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), improper installation, or alterations.

Fisher research laboratory two year warranty

This Fisher instrument has been rigidly tested before shipment. Fisher Research Laboratory (FRL) warrants this instrument to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years (parts and labor) after the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty gives your specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. During the warranty period FRL will elect to repair or replace a defective instrument free of charge except for return postage.

This warranty excludes headphones, all batteries and damage caused by battery leakage regardless of the type of battery used. Also excluded is damage caused by wear, misuse, alterations, and negligent handling or any abuse, which in the opinion of FRL caused the failure.

This warranty is void in the event any unauthorized person opens or repairs the instrument.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. FLR does not warrant suitability to specific use. FLR shall in no event be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential or indirect damages.

This warranty may be transferred and is valid only if the original warranty registration card has been completed and returned. Contact the factory for details.

Should warranty service become necessary, contact FRL for the name of the nearest authorized Fisher Repair Center or send the unit post-paid to Fisher Research Laboratory. See reverse side of this card for complete factory information. Please include your dated proof of purchase and a complete description of the problem you are having with your instrument.
