If for whatever reason you need to carry a gun open or concealed, a quality holster is a must-have. Some people tend to overlook this accessory, but it is vital if you want to carry a gun around safely and draw it easily at any moment you need. The holster serves two main functions. It provides a good level of retention (depends on the number of retention mechanisms used) and keeps a handgun as close to the user's body as possible.
