Reliance® has been working in plastic conversion for over 45 years. The company started out in 1958, packaging battery acid and manufacturing collapsible containers, all the while supplying containers to other packagers of battery acid. Reliance's Fold-A-Carrier water container was eventually born out of its modifications to those containers and this would be the foundation of a complete camping product line to follow years later. Today, Reliance continues to manufacture blow molded and injection molded products suited for both industrial and non-commercial applications. Its product line includes rigid bottles, tightheads, flexible containers and openhead pails to meet a diverse range of customer needs. Most of its product are manufactured using the Airopak in-line fluorination process which allows to treat bottles for greatly improved barrier properties to many chemicals.
