Rothco is a leading manufacturer of premium quality military, tactical, outdoor, and survival products. In 1953 Milton Somberg established the company in a small loft on Great Jones Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. At first Rothco was dealing with clothing and World War II army surplus, then the business grew and the company settled in a bigger warehouse at Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. When utilized military goods became deficient, Rothco became the greatest manufacturer of military clothing and gear (military backpacks, knives, flashlights, etc.) in the United States. By the late 1970, the company enlarged its lineup and moved to Long Island, NY.
As the years go by, Rothco has continuously developed while presenting new lines of clothing and product. The company's heritage took its roots in authentic military apparel and gear, from M-65 field jackets to canvas bags, even the folding camping shovel can be traced back to Rothco's military surplus roots. Today the company offers an awesome collection of top-notch clothing, military and tactical gear, headwear, footwear, outerwear, military branches, camo and paracord products, bags and packs, personal accessories and novelties, women's clothing, and kid's clothing and accessories. For instance, Rothco's abundant array of military apparel includes BDU's, uniform and combat shirts, fatigue shirts and pants, etc.
The company manufactures superior military and tactical equipment, namely MOLLE pouches, shooting supplies, tactical vests, and more. Now the brand offers a plentiful variety of Rothco jackets, including concealed carry jackets, soft shell tactical jackets, M-65 field jackets, M-51 flight jackets, etc. It also has a broad selection of classic military canvas bags and tactical backpacks. Among other Rothco bags are messenger & shoulder bags, military duffle & cargo bags, military gear bags, medical bags, and so on.
