Lifetime started its way back in 1972 in a small garage in Riverdale, Utah, when Barry Mower, the future founder of the company and a big fan of basketball, decided to make a better basketball hoop for his family. 1986, Mower founded Lifetime Products with the purpose to create dependable and long-lasting products for consumers. Now, apart from innovative basketball systems, the brand’s lineup includes folding chairs and tables, picnic tables, and many other units.

In 1986, Lifetime invented the first basketball hoop that can be easily adjusted by means of a broom handle. Named Quick Adjust, the Lifetime basketball hoop has become popular around the globe and largely contributed to the company’s growth. The growth was remarkable – in the first years, Lifetime consisted of only 15 employees and today it includes 1,500 highly trained professionals worldwide. In 1995, Lifetime tables with a blow-molded plastic tabletop that can be folded flat saw the world and also became successful soon.
